Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 tbsp oil (from tomato jar)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup sundried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta in salted water. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat tomato oil in skillet. Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes. Add chopped tomatoes.
  • Add broth and cream. Simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in parmesan cheese.
  • Toss pasta in the sauce and garnish with fresh basil.

Notes

Add spinach for a nutritional boost.
