Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup pasta water (reserved)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley

Instructions
 

  • Boil pasta in salted water. Reserve 1 cup water before draining.
  • Melt butter in skillet. Sauté garlic and chili flakes gently for 2 mins.
  • Add pasta and 1/2 cup water to skillet. Toss vigorously.
  • Gradually toss in cheese until creamy sauce forms. Add more water if needed. Serve.

Notes

Reserve plenty of pasta water; it is the liquid gold of this recipe.
