Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped (garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Pound chicken breasts to even thickness. Rub with olive oil and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Place chicken in baking dish. Brush with half the BBQ sauce. Bake for 15-20 minutes depending on thickness.
  • Remove from oven. Brush with remaining sauce. Top with cooked bacon and shredded cheese.
  • Bake for another 5-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and chicken reaches 165°F internally. Garnish with green onions.

Notes

Par-cook bacon for best texture. Pound chicken thin for even cooking.
