- 1 loaf French bread or Brioche, cubed (day old)
- 8 large Eggs
- 2 cups Whole milk
- 0.5 cup Heavy cream
- 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
- 0.5 cup Flour (for topping)
- 0.5 cup Brown sugar (for topping)
- 1 tsp Cinnamon (divided)
- 0.5 cup Cold butter, cubed
Grease a 9x13 baking dish. Place bread cubes inside.
Whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon.
Pour custard over bread. Press down to soak.
Mix flour, brown sugar, remaining cinnamon, and cold butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle topping over the casserole.
