Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs ground lamb or beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cups mixed peas and carrots
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Boil potatoes until tender, then mash with butter and milk.
  • Brown meat and onions in a skillet. Stir in tomato paste and flour.
  • Add broth and vegetables. Simmer until thickened.
  • Spread meat in a baking dish and top with mashed potatoes.
  • Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes until golden brown.
