- 1.5 lbs ground lamb or beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cups mixed peas and carrots
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup milk
Boil potatoes until tender, then mash with butter and milk.
Brown meat and onions in a skillet. Stir in tomato paste and flour.
Add broth and vegetables. Simmer until thickened.
Spread meat in a baking dish and top with mashed potatoes.
