  • 2.5 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.75 cup Unsalted butter, cubed and softened
  • 0.25 cup Vegetable oil
  • 5 large Egg whites
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 0.75 cup Whole milk
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla bean paste
  • 1 tsp Pink gel food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease three 8-inch pans.
  • Whisk egg whites, sour cream, milk, vanilla, and coloring in a jug.
  • Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixer. Add butter and oil until sandy.
  • Pour in wet ingredients gradually. Beat on medium for 2 minutes.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
  • Frost with buttercream and decorate with piping.
