Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 large Russet potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 can (10.5oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Brown ground beef with seasonings; drain fat.
  • Layer sliced potatoes in a greased 9x13 dish. Top with onions, then beef.
  • Whisk soup and milk together. Pour evenly over the beef.
  • Cover tightly with foil. Bake for 1 hour.
  • Remove foil, top with cheese, and bake 15 more minutes uncovered.
