Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag (30oz) frozen diced hash browns
  • 1 can (10.5oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 block (8oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 carton (32oz) chicken broth
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 pinch black pepper (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Combine frozen hash browns, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, and pepper in the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
  • 30 minutes before serving, stir in the cubed, softened cream cheese. Cover and let melt.
  • Whisk until smooth and creamy. Stir in cheddar cheese just before serving.
  • Serve hot with desired toppings like bacon or chives.
