Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

6 slices of bacon, diced

1/4 cup chopped chives

1 large egg

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp black pepper

Directions

1
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, bell pepper, cheddar cheese, panko breadcrumbs, bacon, chives, egg, paprika, and black pepper. Mix well with your hands until just combined.

2
Use a cookie scoop or spoon to drop the mixture into balls, about 1 1/2 inches (3.8 cm) in diameter. Place the balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving about 1 inch (2.5 cm) of space between each ball.

3
Bake the bites in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Serve hot and enjoy!

4
Repeat the process until all of the mixture is used up. You should end up with around 4-6 dozen bites, depending on the size of your balls.

5
Serve the Iowa Party Bites hot, garnished with additional chives and a side of your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
