Description

Hot honey chicken blends sweet honey, tangy feta, and red pepper flakes for a bold, flavorful dinner that’s easy to make in just 40 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup feta cheese, crumbled

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tbsp red wine vinegar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp red pepper flakes

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1 lemon, sliced (for serving)

Instructions

1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

2. Marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours in the fridge.

3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

4. Mix feta with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl for the topping.

5. Place chicken in a baking dish and spoon feta mixture over each piece.

6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).

7. Broil for 2–3 minutes to brown the feta slightly.

8. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Use boneless chicken thighs for extra juiciness.

Add hot sauce or cayenne for more heat.

Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or salad.

Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3 days.
