Ingredients
Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs – 8 pieces
Cornflour (Cornstarch) – 2 tbsp
Salt – ½ tsp
Black Pepper – ½ tsp
Vegetable Oil – 2 tbsp
Unsalted Butter – 1 tbsp
Garlic (minced) – 4 cloves
Honey – 110 g (⅓ cup)
Chicken Stock – 80 ml (⅓ cup)
Rice Vinegar – 1 tbsp
Light Soy Sauce – 1 tbsp
Fresh Parsley (chopped) – 1 tbsp
Chili Flakes – ½ tsp
Boiled Rice – To serve
Instructions
1. Coat chicken with cornflour, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add chicken and sear 4–5 minutes per side until golden.
3. Add butter and garlic, stirring for 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Mix honey, chicken stock, rice vinegar, and soy sauce. Pour over chicken.
5. Bring to a boil, then simmer 4–5 minutes until sauce thickens and coats chicken.
6. Sprinkle parsley and chili flakes before serving.
7. Serve hot with rice or vegetables.
Notes
Use chicken thighs for the juiciest results.
Add vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers to make it a one-pan meal.
Adjust sweetness or saltiness to your liking.
