Ingredients

  • 1 pound Smash Beef (80% lean), formed into 4 patties
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 slices American Cheese
  • 1 can (4.5 oz) diced Tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup finely diced Yellow Onion
  • 1 packet Spicy Taco Seasoning (1 ounce)
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese (2 ounces)
  • Sour Cream & Chopped Cilantro (optional)

Instructions

Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle a pinch of salt on both sides of each patty.

Sear the patties for 2-3 minutes per side, or until your desired level of browning is reached. Transfer them to a plate to await assembly.

In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add diced onions and cook until translucent, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, Place a tortilla in the pan and sprinkle shredded Cheddar Cheese on one half. Place a cooked beef patty in the cheese, then top with diced tomatoes and a sprinkle of taco seasoning.
