Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 sticks of unsalted butter, plus more for greasing
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a heart-shaped cake pan and set it aside.

Melt the butter and sugar in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat and stir in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
