Ingredients

2 lbs Ground Beef

1 tbsp Olive Oil

2 cups Mashed Potatoes

1 cup Frozen Peas

1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded

2 tbsp Salsa

1/4 cup Green Onions, chopped

1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce

1 tsp Ground Salt

1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Directions

1
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks, until it is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat from the skillet and add the olive oil, cooking until fragrant. Set the beef aside to rest.

2
In a large baking dish, spread a thin layer of mashed potatoes on the bottom. Add a layer of the cooked ground beef, followed by a handful of chopped green onions, a sprinkle of cheddar cheese, and a spoonful of salsa. Repeat this layering process until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of mashed potatoes on top. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

3
Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

4
Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.

5
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.

Storage & Reheating
